What we collect, why we collect it, and what we do not do with it.

What we collect
We collect what we need to build and deliver your stand and to answer your questions.
- Contact details you give us: name, email, phone, and addresses
- Order details: configurations, measurements, payments, and delivery records
- Inquiry details: the measurements, notes, and files you attach
- Account details if you create one, including a hashed password
- Basic technical data such as IP address and browser type
Why we use it
To take and fulfil orders, arrange freight, provide support, honour warranty claims, prevent fraud, and meet our legal and tax obligations. We only send marketing email if you ask for it, and you can change that preference from Account settings.
Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your full card number never reaches our servers and we never store it.
Your choices
From Account settings, you can download a copy of your data, control marketing email, or submit an account deletion request. You can make your anonymous analytics choice when you first visit and change it later in Account settings. You can ask us for access, correction, or deletion by emailing support@tanklith.com; we will respond within one business day.
Deletion and retention
After you confirm a deletion request, an administrator reviews it. We delete nonessential profile data and private inquiry attachments, revoke account sessions, and anonymize order and inquiry records that must remain for tax, fraud-prevention, accounting, or warranty purposes. Anonymized records are no longer used to identify you.
Our current operational defaults remove expired or revoked sessions after 30 days, expired carts, checkout attempts, freight quotes, and email intents after 90 days, and inquiry attachments after 730 days. Orders and records needed to complete an order, resolve a claim, prevent fraud, support accounting, honour a warranty, or meet a legal obligation may be retained longer and are anonymized when possible.
Security
Account passwords are hashed, payment card details are handled by Stripe, and sensitive one-time notification data is protected while it is queued for delivery. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure, so contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed improperly.
Analytics
If we configure Google Analytics 4, it helps us understand which pages and product actions are useful. We send event names and non-identifying product or order totals only; we do not send your name, email, phone, address, account ID, order number, or payment details. Analytics stays off until you allow it in the first-visit prompt, and you can change that choice later in Account settings.
